In MALAYSIA, when someone buys a car ...

My opinion ... screw the cheap fuel, give us cheaper vehicles!

Everyday, and I mean weekdays and weekends as well, people are joy-riding to shopping complexes, people are single-driving to work, couples are driving two cars to two different workplaces but at the same area, i.e SS2 and Taman Tun, Kota Damansara and Bandar Utama, etc.

This has got to stop!

They say the inefficiency of public transport forced people to buy cars. Now now, can you force a person who earns below Rm800 per month to buy a new car? You can't! So, raise the prices of fuel, or remove HALF the subsidy, and the country saves 7 Billion Ringgit a year. I bet those who owns a car didn't see that coming, but did they see ANYTHING coming at all when they sign off a 7-year installment for a brand new national car?

No they didn't. They just sign off another polluting vehicle on the road.
