Your WORST Chinese New Year mistake!

One of the worst Chinese New Year mistake apart from giving an angpow (a small red envelop with money inside given to children/single individuals) with the wrong amount of money inside, is using the wrong words to wish others.

The BN did just that. The banner below was proudly hung by party workers/volunteers outside a building under construction in the historical Melaka state. The Chief Minister of Melaka, Mohd Ali Rustam smiles confidently and wishes all Melaka people a Happy Chinese New Year.

Note the sentence that say "Gong Xi Fai Chai ..."

Note the sentence in white that says 'Gong Xi Fai Chai ...' The right sentence should be 'Gong Xi Fa Chai'. So, instead of wishing the Chinese community a Happy Chinese New Year, that large banner is saying "Congratulations, scumbag", to all Melaka people who happened to pass by.
